Have you discovered Pinterest yet? Just as Facebook can sap us of an hour of our time in the blink of an eye, Pinterest is a new online obsession for many of us, including me. Pinterest is a kind of online idea board. You create categories on your home page where you can save pictures of just about anything from the web. Mine include “Favorite Quotes”, “Places I Love” and “Fashion”. You can save a yummy recipe, a decorating idea, an arts and crafts project, a makeup tutorial, your next Halloween costume, a cute date-night outfit or just something that makes you laugh (see the Charlie Brown cartoon to the left – giggle, giggle). Then you can follow anyone on Pinterest and see what they’ve “pinned” or posted and you can re-pin it to your page if you want to save it too. The ideas on these pages are amazing…total “finds” that someone else has gone out on the internet and took the time to save, so you can see it too. So check it out, but don’t blame me if your afternoon is spent pinning and not working!
