Slider Night at The Shed at Glenwood: May 2009
Everyone felt the impact of the economic downturn and small restaurants were especially hit hard. Our client, The Shed at Glenwood, drew a loyal clientele for dinner but to survive we needed to increase diner frequency and particularly create a value proposition to drive them during mid-week. Thus we came up with a mid-week economic stimulus meal that was as kind to the belly as it was to the wallet. Slider Night features $3 weekly changing sliders, giving diners a mid-week break that’s tasty, fun and affordable. Offerings have included Chicken Salad, Fried Chicken, Pork Belly BLT, Schnitzel, Vegetables and Angus Burger sliders. This not only drew huge crowds but it also positioned acclaimed Chef Lance Gummere as approachable with a whimsical sensibility. The press continues to roll in and Wednesdays are the restaurant’s strongest night.
