ST Residential Launch: August 2010

While real estate is a major driving force of Atlanta’s economy, it’s hardly glamorous. But we understand the impact it has on the city – people want to work and play where they live.  By representing some of the city’s top developers, we’ve had access to and thus have been historically able to wrangle thousands of residents to our clients’ businesses. But it was more than our real estate PR expertise that drew Starwood Capital’s latest venture to LLPR.

We had worked with some of Starwood Hotels & Resorts properties in Atlanta including all of the Westins and many of the Ws. In fact we currently work with W Atlanta Downtown Residences and have – for years – worked with the Westin Peachtree Plaza. So – to launch Starwood’s latest venture – a foray into real estate no less – we had to come up with a concept that represented this creative brand. We strategically placed a major article in the Wall Street Journal nationally and then a series of stories in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. By the time we hosted an exclusive launch party we had to hire extra security at the door because everyone wants to be a part of what’s new and hot in Atlanta. And no one can bring it to the city like we can.
