Candlefish at Ponce City Market

Last night the #LLPRGirlGang headed to Candlefish at Ponce City Market for a private candle making class. Our first stop was Brezza Cucina for some amazing tapas (pass the best kale salad in the city, please) and then a short walk down to The Tap for drinks. Did we mentions it’s BYOB at Candlefish? #sold. Once we arrived at Candlefish, we suited up in the cutest aprons and ventured into the library to choose our scents. Taylor chose a holiday inspired scent (think Christmas tree wonderland), Hilary went with a clean, crisp scent (the fanciest spa you’ve ever been to) and Emma chose a masculine scent (Candlefish’s nickname: Sexy Man). Then we began the step by step process of making our candl

Martin Luther King Jr. Statue Unveiled in Atlanta!

On this windy Monday morning, the #LLPRGirlGang headed down to the Capitol grounds to support our client, Martin Dawe of Cherrylion Studios as the Governor’s office, King family and Georgia State legislature unveiled his latest work, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Statue. The event was held on the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Capitol Avenue. A duplication of the nation’s Liberty Bell rang three times before the 8-foot bronze sculpture was revealed to the audience. It is no coincidence that the unveiling comes on the 54th anniversary of King’s famous, “I Have a Dream” speech and march on Washington. King’s daughter, Reverend Bernice King stated that her father gave the nati

A Team That Eclipses Together, Stays Together

Yesterday, the #LLPRGirlGang made the beautiful trek to The Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts & Sciences to watch the 2017 Eclipse in its totality! We had an amazing time while on the property where some of us hiked (Liz) and the rest of us visited with friends, explored the onsite gallery, listened to live music and enjoyed Orpheus beers and Bloody Marys! By the afternoon we were starving and enjoyed a gourmet lunch by Alisa Barry of Bella Cucina with scrumptiously fried chicken by guest chef Todd Richards of Richard's Southern Fried, farm-to-table finger foods by Hambidge’s own chef, Lori Speed, and of course a special celestial dessert created by Kathryn King, the pastry chef of Aria.

#LLPRGirlGang's Trip to Savannah

This weekend the #LLPRGirlGang hit the open road to visit our newest hospitality client, The DeSoto Savannah! Nestled just minutes from the historic Forsyth Park and surrounded by horse-drawn carriages, antebellum architecture and oak trees dripping in Spanish moss, The DeSoto Savannah Hotel’s guest services and “Sotherly Hosts” created the perfect destination for our weekend trip. Keep reading for what Hilary, Emma and Taylor took away from this “work trip…” if you can even call it that! Emma: Minutes after arriving, our Sotherly host pointed us toward Broughton Street for fabulous shopping and of course, cocktails. From the cutest little boutiques to fan favorites like H&M, it was the perf

The Future is Good

The Future Is Good The #LLPRGirlGang had an amazing time at Plywood Presents where they were among over 1,000 social entrepreneurs, activists, change-makers and culture-shapers at Symphony Hall. Keep reading for what Hilary, Emma and Taylor took away from this inspiring two-day conference. Hilary: I loved the Plywood Presents conference! It was such an inspiring time spent with my colleagues and a lot of the speakers had messages that really resonated with us. My favorite session was with Herve Humler, the founder and president of Ritz Carlton. He spoke about how the term “luxury” in the hospitality industry is shifting from decor (like marble countertops and chandeliers) to focusing on i
