Turning On A Dime… For Chicken

Working in PR we often find ourselves “thinking outside the box,” “turning on a dime,” and using other clichés that “keep us on our toes.” So when Gio’s Chicken Amalfitano was selected to battle against some of Atlanta’s finest restaurants in Atlanta Eats’ 2017 Elite Eats, we “hit the ground running.” Here’s the deal:

  • Atlanta Eats pitted dishes that have been featured on the show into a competition where fans choose the Atlanta Eats 2017 Chompion

  • They’re playing off the Final Four hype – yeah, it’s some kind of basketball thing-y

  • Gio’s is in the final two - cast your vote here

Now here are some things you may not know about Gio’s Chicken Amalfitano in Little Italia.

  • Pick a seat, any seat. While you have to order at each respective restaurant, you can enjoy any of the Little Italia restaurant dishes (Bar Amalfi, Gio’s Chicken Amalfitano, Antico Pizza Napoletana, Caffe Antico) at any spot or you can bring them to the communal tables outside. We love grabbing Lemon Sorrento Chicken from Gio’s and the San Genarro pizza from Antico and dining outside at Bar Amalfi.

  • Shhh it’s a secret. Well – thanks to this video, the secret ingredient isn’t such a secret anymore. Gio’s Sorrento Lemon Chicken uses Sorrento lemon-infused olive oil that Gio imports from Italy.

  • Five Locations. By the end of this year you will be able to enjoy pizza and chicken at five locations: West Midtown, The Battery at SunTrust Park, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Avalon and Miami Beach.
