What Happens In The Hamptons Stays In Atlanta

This past Tuesday night was no ordinary night for the LLPR office— our friend and New York Times Best-Selling author, Holly Peterson, stopped in Atlanta on her book tour for her new novel, It Happens in the Hamptons. Guests were invited to meet the author at J. McLaughlin for champagne, hors d’oeuvres and to grab their own signed copy of this hit summer beach read. The bubbles flowed as guests mingled and raved over Peterson’s latest novel.

This work of humorous social satire is a must-read this summer. With a new romance, whirlwind drama and an unsettling mystery, this novel is nearly impossible to put down. Peterson is the author of bestsellers, The Manny and The Idea of Him. Her writing has been published in the New York Times, Newsweek, Town and Country, Vogue, Departures, Elle Décor, The Daily Beast, Harper’s Bazaar and numerous other publications.

In addition to meeting the author and enjoying time with friends, guests shopped J. McLaughlin’s summer collection while they waited to get their book signed.

Overall, the event couldn’t have been more of a success and we look forward to seeing what Peterson has in store for us next! Until then, we will be pool-side and dreaming of our next trip to the Hamptons.
