A Team That Eclipses Together, Stays Together
Yesterday, the #LLPRGirlGang made the beautiful trek to The Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts & Sciences to watch the 2017 Eclipse in its totality! We had an amazing time while on the property where some of us hiked (Liz) and the rest of us visited with friends, explored the onsite gallery, listened to live music and enjoyed Orpheus beers and Bloody Marys! By the afternoon we were starving and enjoyed a gourmet lunch by Alisa Barry of Bella Cucina with scrumptiously fried chicken by guest chef Todd Richards of Richard's Southern Fried, farm-to-table finger foods by Hambidge’s own chef, Lori Speed, and of course a special celestial dessert created by Kathryn King, the pastry chef of Aria. Once the live band played a mix of “space inspired hits” we laid on the grass to watch the moon take the spotlight.
It was a gorgeous retreat away from the city and we are already counting down the days for when we can return for their Great Artdoors Festival this October!
See you in 2024 Mr. Moon!
