Want to know if boutique public relations is the right fit for you? An internship at a firm is the best way to find out. When I got the email saying I was chosen to be a part of the LLPR team this summer, I shed a tear... or two. I was so happy to be chosen out of over 150 applicants! Who knew PR was so popular? I chose LLPR because of their immense talent, hard earned reputation and impressive client list. I knew interning here would give me the experience and skills to become the PR maven I want to be, so it seemed like the perfect fit. Liz and her extremely talented staff have given me experience that I don’t think I would have gotten anywhere else. LLPR gives their interns an experience like no other; from lunch-and-learns and events, to letting us sit in on client meetings! They allow us to be creative and give us opportunity to use what we learn inside the classroom and apply it to real-world situations. The hands-on experience is what has made interning at LLPR worthwhile. I know public relations is the right fit for me because I have seen myself and fellow interns grow professionally and personally throughout this experience.
